When your desire to conquer takes you to a savage planet in the depths of space, how far would you go to accomplish what you set out to do? Evolve is a single-player/multiplayer cooperative first-person shooter video game for the PS4 console that was developed by Turtle Rock Studios and published by 2K Games. Set in the distant future, the storyline of this game follows mankind’s attempt to take control of an alien planet named Shear; the planet’s inhabitants, however, despise invaders and will do everything within their power to keep what is rightfully theirs. Now, a motley crew of warriors that comprises of war veterans, expendables and psychopaths must work together to annihilate the monstrous natives of Shear. Will the monsters be able to defend their homeland or will the humans succeed in their conquest? Evolve incorporates the CryEngine to deliver impeccable graphics. The gameplay of Evolve sees four human Hunters going toe-to-toe with a single, powerful monster from Shear. As a human, you get to pick one of the four Hunter classes, they are the following: Assault, Medic, Trapper and Support. Once you have chosen a class, you must team up with players from other classes so as to take on a mighty beast in Shear. As the Monster, you will have a slew of savage abilities at your disposal. As you level up you can unlock new Monster and Hunter characters as well as skins, upgrades and other perks. Become the top predator by fighting your way through to the top of the leaderboards.
