Espanol Conversacional Para Profesiones Medicas (Spanish Edition)

This book differs from many current medical Spanish textbooks; it is a collection of orally-focused role-plays and activities rather than a traditional five-area text. Oriented to fourth-semester intermediate Spanish learner, the manual contains communication-centered, classroom-tested activities that mirror real-life medical profession and move away from a focus on the written text. Instead, our primary goal is to maximize oral input and production during class time. The authors consulted with a bilingual family physician and selected conversational expressions based on their frequency and usefulness in primary care contexts. The vocabulary also appears in useful frames (questions or sentences) instead of isolated word lists in an effort to help learners interact with the expressions and appropriately apply grammar in realistic contexts.
