The Deep Silver Umbrella creates more intense and contrasty lighting while the Translucent can be used as either a shoot-through or bounce for soft lighting with a wide and even spread. These light modifiers are more directional and provide a bright and crisp light quality. Elinchrom selected this combination of light modifiers to create an ideal kit for beauty and portrait photography that would increase control and provide a bright and crisp light quality.- 41" Deep Silver Umbrella -Elinchrom deep umbrellas are manufactured using 16 fiberglass rods to maintain a perfect circular shape. By simply adjusting the position, the deep shape offers control of the light spread. The Silver umbrella offers a crispier light providing greater specularity and texture. This umbrella is 45 cm deep.- 41" Deep translucent Umbrella -The Translucent umbrella offers a choice between shoot-through and reflected use. The difference between the two can easily be seen in the catch-light of any reflective surface. It provides a wider spread of light evenly filling a broad area.
