VERSION 2.3 HIGHLIGHTS Based on genuine physical dimmensions Just a reminder that all templates in the folder Version 2.2 are built based upon real physical dimentions. Not just the page size, but the grid pattern and line thickness as well. In contrast, the templates in folder Version 1.0 are based on the recommended size for the iPad. Dark Mode templates All templates in folder Version 2.2 now include dark theme pages. I chose a particular Bootstrap framework with soft and warm tones for this iteration of Dark Mode. Medium contrast ensures pleasant experience when writing for long periods of time. Improved file structure I optimized the way templates are indexed. Every file is now moved to relevant folders based on template format and grid pattern. Help file explaining the template title format will be included in the next update for your reference. Two- and three-column layouts The latest update includes previous column-based layouts that were re-designed with the new standard. Furthermore, all templates are available in the entire range of paper colors used in the pack ie. White, Ivory, Yellow, and Dark . Optimized for the iPad The pack now includes more sections than ever before. Templates based on physical dimensions are kept in their own folder, while pages specifically designed for the iPad have their own directories. The latter is further divided based on screen orientation. All iPad-related templates have landscape and portrait variations. --- Change Log for v2.3 - Added a new directory of basic ruled, graph and dotted templates optimized specifically for the iPad. Portrait and landscape views are available for all templates. Some larger pages also include three size presets of the graph grid: Small , Medium , and Large . - iPad-optimized templates for both landscape and portrait orientation. --- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Why does my pen stroke look smaller on some templates in Version 2.0? - The template sizes in Version 2.0 are based on real physical dimmensions which follow common North American and European printing standards. Inevitably some of them are larger than the default template size used in apps like GoodNotes, Notability and Noteshelf. - All you need to do in order for your writing to look proportional to the grid pattern of larger templates, is to increase the size of the stroke and write at a slightly increased zoom level. Q: Why are there two versions in the pack? - All templates in Version 1.0 are due to be re-designed and released soon. Q: Will there be more template layouts? - Yes, new layouts will be available in Version 3.0. Q: What type of layouts are planned for Version 3.0? - A wide variety of layouts are being planned for Version 3.0, ranging from To-Do lists, accounting lists, diary pages, etc. I can't give a definite answer yet, as this is still a work in progress. - While Version 2.0 adds templates based on real paper formats, iPad-optimized templates are likely to be included in Version 3.0. Q: When is Version 3.0 coming out? - No date is scheduled for this major update at the moment.
