The world of the game is divided into six sectors based on the famous Area 51 and Washington, D.C., among others. Each of these areas has specific challenges for the player to complete, outside general mayhem. To make moving around the open spaces easier, Crypto is equipped with a jet-pack, which he can use to glide around the area. He can also use his flying saucer to travel from place to place.
