Developed by Capcom and Blue Castle, and published by Capcom, Off the Record follows the story of a man who is out to prove himself. The single-player campaign will take you throughout Fortune City as you hunt down people with dark secrets. Even if the game has an open-world feel to it, you are still required to finish objectives within a certain time frame. Finishing mission on time becomes important as an unsuccessful assignment may lead you to an unhappy ending. Everything that was successful with Dead Rising 2 returns in Dead Rising 2: Off The Record. You can easily find healing items and weapon stashes within the game. The villains jump out from the same corners as its predecessor. This helps you to prepare yourself better and charge at your enemies to successfully eliminate them without any hassle. Old mechanics in the game return with the introduction of photography. You can earn XP points called PP by clicking a nicely framed picture with your camera. The new addition to the game includes the Uranus Zone amusement park. This brings in more casinos, restaurants and stores to the game, enhancing its gameplay.
