Concrete a seamless texture

"Concrete" a seamless texture in natural & trendy colors. I love this modern or even timeless texture of concrete. I found the original surface in an underpass below a city street and made lots of photographs. It was a long journey to the final result: I made a selection of the photographs and combined several of them. I put them together and made loads of retouches ... to create what you see: a perfectly worked out pattern in seamless repeat . In contrast to most of the seamless patterns you find this one has been worked out in halfdrop in order to avoid any horizontal lines and to create the illusion of an unlimited organic surface. I have been doing this for many years in the surface design business as head of a design department creating products for the world wide market. With my experience I think I dare call myself an expert in seamless patterns . Take this repeat and create unlimited surface designs with "invisible" repeats. Make sure you put the repeats together in halfdrop not fulldrop as usual to receive the best results see example above . Even if you put the repeats together randomly the outcome will always look good. But halfdrop definitely delivers the best results. In order to keep your effort low you will receive 20 color variations which you might easily adjust in Photoshop for your purposes. Have fun creating endless surface designs.
