Small, locally-printed volume containing reprints of official documents and letters pertaining to the contention between Col. John By and the British colonial government regarding the construction of the Rideau Canal in what is now Eastern Ontario. Copy is in very good condition. Minimal wear to the card wraps. Interior is clean and unmarked. Fold-out map on front end paper has some minor creasing, but is otherwise in great shape. Signed by the editor/compiler Moon on the title page.
