Children of Morta is an action role-playing Game featuring a rogue-lite approach to character creation in which you play an entire, remarkable family of heroes rather than a single character. In dynamically generated dungeons, caves, and lands, hack and slash your way through hordes of foes while guiding the Bergson family—with all their good and bad qualities—against the impending Corruption. Gameplay As a player advances through the Game, new family members are unlocked, bringing the number of playable characters to seven. Players assume the roles of members of the Bergson family. Each member of the family has a unique playstyle and gaming mechanics. Returns to the Bergson family home serve as the bookends for each Dungeon run, sometimes advancing the plot or letting players hear the new dialogue. The property includes several scenes that occur following game-related activities. As the Game progresses, each family member levels up and gains advantages for themselves and the other family members. To rid them of numerous foes and bosses, the player must go through several procedurally created dungeons in Mount Morta's tunnels.
