Califone ST Audio Splitter

The Califone ST Audio Splitter helps educators increase student participation while encouraging teamwork by splitting the audio signal into two so more than a single student can hear content from any given source at one time. Functioning as a two-person jackbox without volume control, the Splitter can be used for the flow of one or two-way audio. It can be connected to a Smartphone or tablet equipped to handle two-way audio so students wearing a headset with a single 3.5mm stereo To Go plug can simultaneously listen to and record audio into the headset's microphone during speaking, listening and language development activities aligned with the Common Core State Standards. The splitter is compatible with iOS and Android-based mobile devices so the technology can support digital initiatives and related Common Core requirements. It helps stretch technology dollars and aids students with literacy and STEM applications as well as for Special Ed, ESL/ELL uses. It's also ideal for differentiated instruction and for use with stereo jackboxes, listening centers and computers in labs, libraries or classrooms. Students can plug two stereo headphones into the audio splitter and then plug the splitter into a multimedia audio source such as a mobile device, computer, personal CD player, or boombox.
