Mary, a prize wining poet, " bristles on the heels of courage" in her honest images growing up as a young girl in Iran under the Shah raised in a multicultural setting of Armenian, Russian, and Persian trying to keep up with her older brothers. She has an M.F.A in poetry from Columbia University and has been featured in the New York Times.
