Each of the 12 playable factions is very unique and offers different strategies. For example, Asuryani enjoys better maneuverability and can use much stronger torpedoes than other factions, while Orks are better suited for ramming and boarding.Winning battles earns experience which rewards skill points that can be used on unlocking various technologies to further improve the effectiveness of your fleet.Game ModesThe game offers both single-player and multiplayer experience. For single-player developers prepared three distinctive campaigns, each telling a different story and requiring a different approach, as they are incorporating different mechanics. There is also an option to play a single custom battle against the AI in the form of skirmish match.Multiplayer elements are visible in campaigns as well, as they may be played together with other players in co-op mode. However, in terms of online playing, there is also an interesting option for a more competitive approach.
