Baader Planetarium 8" Heavy-Duty Double Mounting Plate, Supports 220 Lbs

This rigid wide (8"/203mm width) style heavy-duty dovetail bar for the 10Micron GM3000/400 mounts, allows dual/side-by-side mounting of large heavy optical tubes up to a total instrument payload of 100kg/220lbs. The bar is pre-drilled for most Baader Planetarium dovetail bars and clamps, eg.: Baader Pan EQ clamps 190mm, 230mm, 370mm or the 8" Planewave clamp. Should you wish to have left/right movement of the bar, for reasons of balancing, you will need to purchase one of the 8"-wide Planewave Clamps (# 2451555) to attach to the 10Micron mount for attaching the Double-Mounting plate.
