The 1x24 splitter can distribute one HDMI input to twenty-four HDMI outputs. The distribution amp supports HDMI V2.0, 4K signals up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, HDR 10, Dolby Vision and features advanced EDID management option using 4-pin DIP switch on the front panel of the unit. The SUH124-H2 offers downscaling so a 4K video input can automatically be down scaled to a 1080p output when connecting a display that only supports resolutions up to 1080p. Stereo analog L/R audio output is provided for audio de-embedding from HDMI input and the splitter supports CEC and RS232 control.EDID (Extended Display Identification Data)The EDID job is to read the information off a Display for the purpose of matching the sources which includes manufacturer name and serial number, product type, filter type, timings, size luminance, and pixel mapping. This is vital to ensure the source and display will be compatible for signal transmission and receival. When there is no picture, this may be the issue, referred to as EDID conflicts.3RD Party Control System ConnectionsUtilize an array of connections for 3rd Party Control system including RS-232, LAN, IR and USB.4K 60 4:4:4 SupportUltra HD refers to a TV resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.
