The VanCryst Media Matrix Solution is a combination of the VM1616T 16x16 Cat 5 A/V Matrix Switch and the VE500 / VE300 A/V Over Cat 5 Extender. The VM1616T is a Matrix Switch that routes and distributes audio, video and RS-232 signals over distances of up to 300m with 1920 x 1200 video resolution. The VM1616T can receive data from up to 16 audio/video sources and transmit data to up to 16+1 audio/video displays. The VM1616T offers several convenient ways to access and control the source devices: locally, with front panel pushbuttons and an RS-232/ RS-485/RS-422 serial port; and remotely, over the Internet with a browser-based web page interface. The Media Matrix Solution is an ideal solution when long runs to the A/V output locations are required and where versatility and security are essential. Bi-directional Serial Control The VM1616T provides bi-directional serial RS-232 / 485 / 422 functionality that allows you to access the device, providing port switching, mute, save/load profile, video adjustment and audio adjustment controls using a high-end serial controller. Exceptional Video Over Long Distance ATEN's patented Deskew technology automatically synchronizes the time delay of RGB signals and corrects the color phase and timing errors that occur over large distances, allowing you to transmit HD video signals over distances of up to 300m without sacrificing video quality. The VM1616T can be located anywhere within 300m. Superior Balanced Audio Quality The balanced audio connector consists of three wires - two carrying the signal and a shield/ground conductor. It uses XLR connectors or a 1/4" TRS jacks for connection and provides the highest quality balanced audio.
