America's Best Recipes: A Hometown Collection

America's best Recipes is a collection of the very best recipes contained in charitable cookbooks from communities across the country. The recipes have been donated by your friends, families and neighbors to support a wide variety of worthwhile causes. We collect hundreds of community cookbooks from across the country. Then over 600 recipes were chosen to be tested in our test kitchen by home economists. Each recipe was carefully judged and rated, and only those receiving the highest ratings were included. All recipes were eliminated using canned soups or packaged mixes in an effort to use natural ingredients. Breads, cakes, cookies, desserts, fish, meats, rice, pies, poultry, salads, sauces, soups, vegetables, appetizers, potluck and more.
