The amaran PT4c is a 4-foot battery-powered pixel tube that is part of amaran's first-ever full-color LED pixel tube series. The Pixel Tube series is comprised of a family of 1-foot, 2-foot, and 4-foot lengths - all featuring multiple Pixel FX, RGBWW color quality, Sidus Link app & DMX control, and USB-C rechargeable batteries packed into their sleek & slender form factor. At 4 feet in length, the amaran PT4c is an expansive and powerful tube light that adds waves of color to a scene.

For greater control and color chasing capabilities, the PT4c features 16 built-in pixels that can be independently adjusted via the Sidus Link app and 7 pre-programmed Pixel FX for a variety of scenarios, in addition to 9 System FX.
As a full-color fixture, the PT4c's RGBWW LED chipset produces stellar color quality and accurate skin tones throughout its CCT range of 2,700K to 10,000K with full green-magenta control, achieving high CRI [95], TLCI [98], and SSI values across the board, with an SSI (Tungsten) of 85 and SSI (D56) of 75.

Inside its sleek T12 form factor, the PT4c is powered by a 77Wh internal lithium-ion battery for up to 170 minutes of maximum output. By utilizing a ubiquitous USB-C port, the PT4c be easily charged, and can even fast charge at 32W using USB-C PD to reach full capacity in approximately 3 hours.

Complementing its simple design, each PT4c comes with two clear, 3/8- 16in threaded magnetic T12 brackets to make mounting as easy as possible. Use the magnets to attach the pixel tube to ferromagnetic surfaces or add a 3/8-16in spigot or baby pin to mount it to a light stand. The clear design of the brackets ensure that the mounting solutions do not interfere with the quality or output of the light.
For additional mounting options, each endcap houses a 3/8-16in threaded mount. The possibilities are endless, with the ability to use splicing connectors to arrange the tubes in multiple 3D shapes, like with the amaran T2c/T4c.

The PT4c can be controlled from the new interface on the back of the tube, featuring the latest UI, or via the Sidus Link Bluetooth app that powers the rest of the Aputure and amaran product lines. This ultracapable application can control all the lights in the scene, activate stunning lighting effects, and ensure that the Pixel Tubes are always up to date. For more advanced console controls, a Wired USB-C to 5-Pin XLR In & Out DMX Dongle unlocks DMX control for the entire Pixel Tube product line, like the amaran T2c/T4c and F-Series products.

Combining layers of functionality, battery power, high-quality color, and a high transmittance diffuser that produces a wide 180 Degree beam angle, the versatile mid-sized Pixel Tube from amaran shines as an effects, fill, accent light, and so much more. Lastly, for that extra touch of lighting control, the 45 Degree Fabric Light Control Grid will hone the quality of the light to perfection.
The amaran PT4c is ideal for filmmakers and lighting designers who need a full-size battery-powered tube light that is capable of producing unique pixel effects and enough output to light a scene, but do not need the ultra-high pixel density, ultra-thin bezels, and Lumen Radio CRMX available in products like the Aputure MT Pro.
Filmmakers who need the spread, power, and shape that only a full-size tube light can provide will appreciate the sleek design of the PT4c. Measuring 4-feet (120cm) in length, it matches the most common tube form factors and T12 housings on the market, compared to nonstandard full-size variants. At twice the length of the PT2c and T2c, the PT4c is a better tool for casting light across wider areas or acting as a larger in-camera practical to add life to a scene and can match the PT2c's 170-minute runtime at maximum output.
The 4-foot tube light has been an industry standard for years and is a popular form factor for lighting designers who want clean, linear reflections and soft, wrapping light. As such, the PT4c shine as an all-in-one practical, key, fill, and edge light for their subjects.

Particularly for filmmakers who want more unique FX or who specialize in product cinematography and photography, the PT4c's multi-pixel array is one of its standout features. Each of the PT4c's 16 pixels can be independently controlled and assigned HSI values via the free Sidus Link mobile app or DMX with the USB-C to DMX Adapter with USB-C Input (sold separately).
Its clean construction & interface, built-in battery, multiple pixels, and accessory & Sidus Link app ecosystems make the PT4c a strong addition to any filmmaker or lighting designer's toolkit.
