When the battery voltage is close to 4.2V and the charging current is less than 300mA it enters the voltage charging mode. After entering the voltage mode the charging is stopped after every 4 minutes and the battery voltage is detected to be higher than 4.15V: if it is higher than 4.15V the charging is stopped; otherwise the charging is continued and then the detection is performed after 4 minutes. 5.
