Highlights: Dark Flax Seeds from Italy, Sottolestelle, are carefully selected and cold-pressed to retain their nutritional properties. The seeds are grey/black in colour and have a high fat content of up to 60%. They can be added to or used as an ingredient for meals such as cookies, ice cream, soup and salad dressing. They can also be used to prepare smoothies or cereal bars in order to increase the nutritional properties of these items. The oil may be used to cook food using the same temperature levels as those applied to sunflower oil.
