Dry Lam Heat Shoe Maintenance Kit

After cleaning the chambers, it is HIGHLY recommended to use the DryLam Maintenance Kit. Be certain the heat chambers are clean. This product is not a cleaner or a solvent. DO NOT SPRAY DRY FILM LUBRICANT DIRECTLY ON THE HEAT CHAMBERS! After the face of the chambers have been cleaned spray a liberal amount of the Dry Film Lubricant into the microfiber cloth and wipe on the face of the heat chambers. There will be a glossy shine afterwards. Lightly wipe off the excess but do not completely remove the residue of the lubricant. This lubricant allows the film to slide over the chambers easily thus reducing the tension required. This reduces noise and wear and will reduce linear scratches that may be seen in the film.
