Maintaining the high standards established over its thirty-three-year publishing history, this new volume of the highly regarded annual Warship includes articles on the U.S. Navy's Lexington-class battle cruiser design; the grounding and destruction of HMS Effingham in 1940; the origins of the world's first armored cruiser, Dupuy-de-Lome; the battle for Casablanca in 1942; and the impact of the capsizing of the Japanese Navy s torpedo boat Tomorzuru on subsequent design and construction.
