This professional-grade matte box aids in balancing exposure by adjusting external luminous flux, ensuring a consistent depth of field (DOF). The kit includes four threaded adapter rings (67-95mm/72-95mm/77-95mm/82-95mm), making it compatible with circular filters like VND, GND, CPL, common DSLR lenses, and 95mm cine lenses. For expanded compatibility, you can also purchase the Adapter Rings Kit (52-95mm/55-95mm/58-95mm/62-95mm/86-95mm) 3383 separately.The kit features a 4x5.65" filter frame with an aluminum alloy frame and an anti-off design for quick, fingerprint-free installation. For attaching a 4x4" filter, Filter Frame 3648 is available separately. The kit also includes a VND Filter Kit 3651 for quick exposure adjustments in changing light environments, while maintaining the same DOF.The matte box's lens hood offers a magnetic installation and quick-release design, and the carbon fiber top flag opens to 180 degrees. To further prevent glare, consider purchasing the Side Flag Kit (95mm) 3647. The Dual Rod Support 3652 provides additional lens support and protection.Constructed from lightweight magnesium alloy and carbon fiber, the Star-Trail series matte box offers a flexible modular design that adapts quickly to changing lighting situations. The U-shaped Filter Frame and Shading Hood feature a magnetically assisted alignment and a quick locking/unlocking system for ease of use. The kit also includes a professional high-definition filter set made from German SCHOTT 8270 optical glass. This glass features 18 layers of coating on each side for maximum light transmission, accurate color rendition, and reduced flare and reflections. The resilient coatings are waterproof, oil-resistant, and scratch-resistant, ensuring durability and longevity.Please note that this product is incompatible with 2mm thick, 100 x 100mm, and 100 x 150mm slide-in filters, and cannot hold the slide-in filter and circular filter simultaneously. It is also incompatible with a circular filter having an outside diameter larger than 100mm. For optimal use, place the Filter Frame (4x4") 3648 or the VND Filter Kit 3651 in the innermost slot near the lens after removing the lens hood. Third-party VND filters are not compatible with VND Filter Kit 3651.
