Having received a provisional PEGI rating of 7, Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is a sequel to Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. The storyline of this epic game focuses on the chaos that Brainiac spreads across the universe. Brainiac, now wielding the power of the Lantern Rings, begins his wicked quest of shrinking worlds that map the expanse of the universe to satisfy his own twisted pleasure and to fill his collection. Among the list of planets he plans on miniaturising and abducting is Earth, however, the heroes of our planet will not stand for this. The Dark Knight, along with a team of mighty superheroes and a slew of supervillains from the DC Universe, gears up and blasts off into the depths of outer space to face, what might be, the most destructive threat that our planet has ever encountered. More than 150 unique characters from the DC Universe can be unlocked as the game progresses; among the lot are Solomon Grundy, Killer Croc and numerous others. Your favourite superheroes and villains now come equipped with new gadgets and skills. Furthermore, Brainiac’s power of mind control brings about numerous twists in the plot, all of which make the narrative much more fascinating.
