It features a tough Honda GX160 engine capable of pumping 220 gallons per minute (GPM) with a maximum pressure of 44 pounds per inch (PSI.) The Honda 2-inch pump requires a maximum priming time of 65 seconds per every 16.4 feet. To protect its components against the chemicals it pumps, it features EPDM seals that are compatible and resistant against many chemicals. The centrifugal self-priming pump also boasts a thermoplastic volute, impeller and housing for chemical resistance. This water and chemical pump features high-performance isolation mounts that prevent the pump from moving during use and digging into the ground where it is placed. To protect against engine seizure, Honda Oil Alert® shuts the Honda 2-inch pump down automatically when it detects that oil levels have dropped too low.
