The VERSA-4K-R 4K Video & USB Extension Decoder/Receiver is an advanced, high-tech solution for extending and switching multiple HDMI video and USB data across a vast number of receivers on a simple Gigabit network. This sophisticated device supports bidirectional IR, RS-232, and auxiliary stereo audio extension, offering a comprehensive solution for your audio-visual needs.This innovative device boasts low latency video and audio, CEC and Serial over IP control, and a video wall processor that can expand and split 4K video onto multiple screens. It also offers video rotation and flipping capabilities, both horizontally and vertically, for enhanced viewing flexibility. The VERSA-4K-R also features USB Device class filtering, which allows for the exclusion of specific USB device types such as USB flash drives. This state-of-the-art device supports automatic KVM switching, Telnet and webGUI control, Dynamic Virtual Matrix (DVM) operation, and PoE (power over Ethernet) support for a seamless user experience.In a 1-to-1 setup, no external network equipment is needed. Simply connect a Cat6 cable up to 120 meters (400 ft) between the two ends. For a many-to-many setup, a dedicated gigabit network switch with IGMP and Jumbo-frame support is required. The VERSA-4K-R supports any HDMI resolution, including 4K, 60 Hz 4:4:4 with HDCP 2.2, and includes an HDMI video loop output along with extracted HDMI audio in analog format for maximum flexibility. The receiver provides a scaled video output with a maximum resolution of 4K, 30 Hz 4:4:4, and includes four USB ports, two of which are dedicated for keyboard and mouse use, and two general-purpose USB 2.0 ports that support touch screens, memory devices, audio capture, and other USB device functions.Both the sender and receiver feature a two-line front panel character-LCD for easy configuration of parameters such as IP settings, video multicast channel selection, and device name assignment. The receiver also includes an IR remote controller for easy video switching among senders.
