Conditionally Human

Walter Michael Miller, Jr. (1923 - 1996) was an American science fiction writer. Today he is primarily known as the author of the classic "A Canticle for Leibowitz," his Hugo Award-winning novel. "Conditionally Human" concerns intelligence and the difference between sentient beings and animals.
