Nico ignores the mime loitering outside Carchon's house and continues inside. She meets Carchon, who explains that he knew Thierry Collard, Nico's father, very well. She also meets Carchon's wife, Imelda. The drawing room soon starts to make noise, and as Carchon goes to inspect, he is fatally shot.
