Instructions:
How to analyze soil fertility/pH value
1. First remove the topsoil about 5cm; then mash the soil down to 13cm depth. And remove all organic impurities in the soil that will affect the test results, such as leaves, roots, etc.
2. Soak the soil with water to form mud. (rainwater or distilled water is preferred).
3. Wipe the stick with a clean cotton or paper towel.
4. Turn the function key to the first gear from the left/right.
5. Insert the probe into the measured soil until the distance between the soil and the fuselage is no more than 2.5cm. After the pointer is stable, the data can be read.
6. Record the data. Remove the probe from the soil and clean it thoroughly.
The criteria for the analysis results are as follows
Lack (too little):
Nitrogen less than 50 ppm; Phosphorus less than 4 ppm; Potassium less than 50 ppm
Ideal range:
Nitrogen 50-200 ppm; Phosphorus 4-14 ppm; Potassium 50-200 ppm
Excessive (too much):
Nitrogen More than 200 ppm; Phosphorus More than 14 ppm; Potassium More than 200 ppm
