This ideal portrait-length prime is designed for optimal quality imaging with the most advanced Canon Full Frame sensor cameras. It also performs with Canon APS-C sensor models as a high speed 136mm equivalent AF telephoto lens.

A variety of advanced lens technologies, including a Hybrid Aspherical element, allow for a more compact (Autofocusing is fast, quiet and accomplished by two Linear Ultrasonic Motors (LSM's) that only have to adjust a single inner lens group to achieve precise focus. An AF/MF switch is also featured for seamless switching between focusing modes.Additional notable features of the new ROKINON 85mm F1.4 AF include Weather Sealing, all metal construction, an ergonomically designed size, shape and grip for enhanced comfort, and a rounded 9 blade aperture that helps to achieve beautiful bokeh.
This short telephoto prime's bright f/1.4 maximum aperture is perfect for low light shooting and offers great control over depth of field for isolating subjects and working with selective focus that is perfect for portraiture.
Not to be overlooked is the capability to calibrate and update the 85mm AF if the need arises. ROKINON AF lenses can be connected to your computer to update firmware and calibrate lens performance using ROKINON Lens Manager Software and a ROKINON Lens Station.
